Freedom Lawns was developed in late 1999 as an alternative to traditional lawn care services. My prior work in the lawn care industry for over 30 years enabled me to take the positives for many different lawn care experiences, and combine them into a simple yet profitable system. My wife, Lynn, and I began our venture full time in 2000. With a used pickup truck, 100 square feet of warehouse space, a 10x14 room in our apartment, strong dedication and a clear vision, we began our journey. Our mission was to create a sound, profitable system that could be followed by anyone who exhibited ambition, drive, and the desire to perform quality work. Within the first 36 months, we added three more vehicles, developed our own product line, purchased land on a major highway for our corporate office, registered all trademarks, and began reaping nice profits. We realized that we now had a viable, profitable business that was not just providing a paycheck and a job, but a sound and a proven business model for others to follow.

Today, our corporate lawn care operations continue to grow and prosper, as do our existing franchise operations. And our secret for success is simple, yet rarely executed by other in our industry. Provide the general public with a service or product that will be perceived as a value and in some way simplify or enhance their lives. While it may be true that Freedom Lawns is a lawn care services, it is our view that we are a service company that provides lawn care.
